Snapchat is preparing to move into ad tech for the first time, according to a report from Digiday's Garrett Sloane. The ephemeral photo and video messaging platform is in discussions with ad tech companies and advertising agencies about opening up an API (application programming interface,) which would see it significantly ramp up its ad sales business.
